Our achievements

Activities:
• To adopt and implement revenue and development programs for the implementation of the Women Development Policy in light of Millennium Development Goal (MDG) and Poverty Alleviation Strategy Scheme (NSAPR) for women's development and equity.
• Coordination of public / private initiatives and programs taken for the development of women through Women Affairs Department under Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.
• Opportunities for women self-employment are being created through vocational and practical training in Narvandhabhab residential / non-residential training centers.
• VGD Program: The Government of Bangladesh's largest social security program is getting 30 kg of food grains and training per month for two years or 24 months per month for stability of poor and helpless and physically capable women. The number of beneficiaries of VGD is approximately 10,00,000.
• Maternity allowance program for poor mother: Maternal allowance activities are being run for "poor mother" in order to increase the rate of poor child and child mortality rate, increased breast feeding rate, increase in nutritional value during pregnancy. Number of beneficiaries is about 6,00,000 people.
• Micro-credit activities for self-employment of women: Micro-credit is provided to create self-employment through the involvement of women in different vocational and unemployed women.
• Women and child abuse prevention programs: In 1986, for the purpose of giving legal advice and assistance to victims of torture, women torture prevention program was started at the Head Office of Women Affairs Department with 4 posts in the presence of 1 law officer, which was followed by violence against women at the office of District and Upazila Women Affairs Officer. Constituted committee to prevent women and child abuse including prevention and B. Inna was undertaken. Women and child abuse prevention committees have been formed at the union level.
• One Stop Crisis Center (OCC): One-stop Crisis Center (OCC) has been set up at Faridpur Medical College Hospital with the government medical college hospital located in 7 divisional cities under the Multisectral Program for Prevention of Women's Torture. In the OCC, women and children of the victims of torture are provided with medical assistance, legal aid, police assistance, DNA tests, psychological counseling, shelter and rehabilitation of society.
• National Helpline Center for Prevention of Women and Child Repression: Provide Legal Assistance to the Helpline at 10921, through multicultural activities in prevention of women's repression. Any phone call from 24 hours to any number of victims, women and children who are victims of torture and their family member can get the necessary help.
• Voluntary women's society registration, control and distribution of donations: Annual grants are provided to them, including registration and supervision of voluntary women organizations.
• Income tax education for poor educated unemployed women (District and upazila level): Vocational training is provided on different trade based on local demand through women's training centers and IGA project for women self-employment for rural distressed women.
• Women entrepreneurship development effort Joyita and sales and exhibition center (Angana): Women's entrepreneurs and small organizations of the country are being promoted by women entrepreneurs and small-scale organizations to help in the development of marketing, marketing and marketing of women entrepreneurs.
• Lactating Mother Support Program: In the urban areas, poor working mothers and their children's social security forces, the standard of living and development of the living and working poor poor mothers are being paid by paying 500 rupees per month for every 2 years.
